Enter the Playtest Zone

July 16, 2014

One of the things I am most excited about for this year’s GlennCon on July 18, 19, 20 is a special area we have dubbed “The Playtest Zone.” The Playtest Zone is where various game designers will be running playtests of their brand new games.

The Playtest Zone opens on Saturday afternoon with a playtest of Little Demons, a casual deckbuilding game by Paul Dworschack-Kinter at 2:00pm. Paul will have decks for people to use and will be giving away promo cards.

After that, Glenn will be running his new card game, Apocalypse How. The Apocalypse is coming soon, but which one will it be? A nuclear war? Aliens? Zombies? The return of the Elder Gods? Gather your supplies, sharpen your skills and try to prepare for the right Apocalypse in order to win the game.

Noobsource.com is taking over the Playtest Zone on Sunday afternoon. From noon-4:00pm Editor-in-Chief Christopher Brimmer will be showing off a couple games in development as well as some new indie games, including Bigfootses, Ringwyrm, and Geared.

The Playest Zone disappears when GlennCon is over, so prepare for a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop, the Playtest Zone!
