Critical Thinking

October 5, 2020

The concept of Critical Thinking can be hard to pin down.

If you’re a mystery fan, Sherlock is the biggest critical thinker around.
If you play RPGs, it’s your Wisdom modifier.
If you’re an action movie fan, every time The Rock chooses to drive his car TOWARD the airborne 18-wheeler careening toward him, instead of away from it, he’s thinking critically.

Critical Thinking is your ability to collect information, analyze it, and make a better (if not the best) judgment… and it’s not something that some people “just have.” It’s a learned skill.

Some of our favorite critical thinking games and activities are all about rewarding players for consistently reevaluating their situation and making adjustments as necessary. Find them in our online store!
