We also ask that players have a basic understanding of the rules.
If you have never played D&D before, we suggest learning the ropes at one of the many weekly events at Board Game Barrister locations.

Dungeons & Dragons (Casual Group) @ Greenfield
Oct 2 @ 6:00 pm

DandDTheoJoin us for Dungeons & Dragons 5e at BGB Greenfield!

This ongoing weekly campaign is open to players of all experience levels. With the guidance of a variety of experienced DMs, we will adventure through a series of homebrew quests. This is NOT an Adventurer’s League campaign.

Starting out: Characters in these settings will start at level 3. Come with a character (or characters) prepared or arrive early and one of our experienced players will assist you in making a character. Not sure you want to commit to a character? That’s okay! Due to the structure of the campaign, players are encouraged to try out different characters.

Settings: There are a variety of settings in which you may find yourself playing. Current adventures include a homebrew campaign set in the world of “Aurak” (where we are adventuring around the premise of building and maintaining a stronghold) being run by rotating DMs. Your characters coming to our stronghold is a constant thread. However, with different DMs come different styles of adventures that are built around this main premise.

New players are always welcome! We understand that players will come and go as this campaign continues, and we are happy to accommodate a shifting group of players each week. If there are a large number of players, we will split into two groups. This will provide all players to have more interaction within the game and allow the storylines to progress.

Who’s running this anyway? The exceptional staff at BGB-Greenfield will be able to point you in the direction of DMs Brian, Devon, and Stephanie. We will be happy to start you on your epic adventure!

D&D Adventurers League @ North Shore
Oct 5 @ 2:30 pm

Join us every week for 3-5 hours of Dungeons & Dragons action at D&D Adventurers League on Saturdays!

Signup is from 2:30-2:50pm
The adventure begins at 3:00pm

These sessions use the official Adventurers League (AL) campaign content. Our experienced Dungeon Masters will divide all attendees into tables that fit your characters’ levels and guide you and your characters through exciting dangers and deeds.

New players: Our DMs have a lot to organize when this event begins, and character creation can be time-consuming. It’s much easier for our DMs to review a character you’ve already created than it is to help create one from scratch. Download the AL Player’s Guide for more information on creating your character!

Plus – Visit the Adventurers League Resource Page for Frequently Asked Questions, AL Character Sheets, and more!

No matter your experience level, feel free to join in every Saturday!

D&D Expeditions is an official D&D Adventurers League event.

Sign-up starts at 2:00pm
Our capacity for this event is determined by the number of Dungeon Masters who are available each week. We often run out of seats between 2:05 and 2:30, so we suggest arriving early enough to sign up right away (between 1:50pm—2:00pm)

Eberron Campaign Setting—Beginning February 2020
Beginning in February of 2020, one of our Adventurers League tables will take place in the Eberron campaign setting. If you’d like to take part in these Eberron sessions, sign up for the table hosted by DM Terrelle.

Additionally, Eberron AL characters must exist independent of Forgotton Realms characters, so all players will need a pre-existing Eberron AL character or to create a new character for this setting.

What is D&D Adventurers League (AL)?

The D&D Adventurers League (AL) is an ongoing official campaign for Dungeons & Dragons. It uses the fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons rules, and features the Forgotten Realms setting.

You can play D&D Adventurers League games literally anywhere. Players use the fifth edition rules to create a character and bring that character to games anywhere D&D Adventurers League play is happening.

AL is not the only way to play D&D, it’s only one of many. So why should you play AL?

  • You enjoy playing games and meeting new people.
  • You’re looking for a new D&D group to join, the sooner the better!
  • You played D&D back in the day and you’re curious about the latest rules but you’re not sure if you want to buy books yet.
  • You’re a hardcore player who wants to play several times a week.
  • You’re a casual player who wants to jump in whenever you have a little free time.
  • You are a DM who wants to expand their skills by DMing new content with new people.
  • You want to learn how to DM from an experienced DM who can help you.

Parents Welcome to Join!
Any player who can follow the rules of our event space is welcome to play without supervision, but parents are also welcome to play at the kids’ table in their weekly adventures, or jump into Adventurers League for the week.
