Additional Tournament Details

This Regional Championship is the first big test for competitive players on the road to Nationalsand beyond. All players, judges, and tournament organizers involved are held to the highest standards of conduct.

Players are assumed to be familiar with the game’s rules, as well as the latest FAQ and tournament rules, and should expect all rules to be strictly enforced. Specifics to note for our event:

  • Players are not required to reveal a die to their opponent until the matching card is in play during a game.
  • Players are required to sleeve their deck in opaque card sleeves. All sleeves within a single deck must be identical in size, color, texture, and condition. Players may sleeve their characters and battlefield, but they must use different sleeves from their deck. Players should bring a few spare sleeves for their deck in case a card sleeve breaks or becomes unusable during a tournament.
  • We are using a 5+5 tardy rule: If you have no opponent at 5 minutes past the start of the round, call a judge. We’ll search for your opponent, and if they can’t be found by 10 minutes past the start of the round, your opponent forfeits and you win.
  • The judges will perform random deck checks throughout the tournament. If you suspect your opponent is using an illegal deck or that their deck might not match their deck list, call a judge.

Additional Information

Please note that no outside food or beverage is allowed at the Greenfield store. All drinks must be in a screw top container. Cousin’s Subs sandwiches, beverages, and snacks will be available for purchase on-site during the tournament.
