Each year, Board Game Barrister participates in International Tabletop Day – a day of free open gaming created by the Geek & Sundry content channel.
This all-day event gives us a chance to welcome local gamers, introduce new players to the hobby and bring our community closer together through board games.
Board Game Barrister is proud to sponsor Bubbler Talk, a WUWM program dedicated to investigating and answering the Milwaukee-related questions submitted by listeners and readers in the area.

Each year, we pay multiple visits to local schools, libraries, and anywhere else where fun-loving folks gather.
We have a nearly-legendary repertoire of game knowledge, which we love to share with different groups. For each “Barrister Outing,” we load up a giant box of games and spend hours sharing our expertise and enthusiasm – all we need are the people!
The Board Game Barrister location in Greenfield is currently teaming up with Culver’s Frozen Custard at 60th St and Layton Ave.
All players in our weekly Friday Night Magic event receive a special coupon for food or custard when they enter the event.

Every year since 2012, the Board Game Barrister has been able to hang hundreds of shamrocks in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, thanks to the charitable contributions of our customers. We also donate games and toys to various community events and fundraisers, and we proudly collect gifts for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation at our stores every holiday season.
Each fall, we host an annual charity event, also in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. In 2016, this event expanded to include players from both the HeroClix and Star Wars: X-Wing game communities, and benefited greatly from charitable contributions made by those players.
Board Game Barrister hosted an Extra Life gaming marathon in October, 2015. This event gave local gamers an opportunity to gather sponsorships and game for a full 24 hours, raising and donating money along the way. Through the efforts of these generous gamers and their sponsors, the Board Game Barrister team was able to raise over $1,800 for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital: Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
